For your lips and ears only

This Saturday at Club Vegas (445 S. 400 West, Salt Lake City) an event called "Beer for Boobs" will he held.

The event will begin at 8 p.m.

The ticket price is $8 at the door and all ticket sales will go to breast cancer awareness foundations, considering that October is national Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The event will feature four local bands who are donating their time: Funk and Gonzo, Killing Carolyn, Going Second and Three Reasons. I have no idea if Going Second is really going second.

"Beers for Boobs" t-shirts will be for sale and 100 percent of those sales with go to the cause. (The t-shirts were sponsored by Willies Lounge, Loyalty Tattoos, Fine Touch Construction and Rocky Mountain Hard Core.

Local Autumn Thatcher organized the event.

One question: I like margaritas and always have felt that boobs only drink beer. Will "Margaritas for Boobs" also be involved?

Strawberry flavor? I'll even take melon. Or banana.
