Utahn Ryan Henke is one of four finalists in a national battle of the bands contest sponsored by LG. The winner receives $15,000.

As one of the four finalists, he was flown to New York City to perform. "I entered the contest not expecting much, in the middle of completing my self-produced album," he said in a e-mail. "When I was chosen as a finalist, it was without ever having performed on stage."

People can vote until Oct. 22, and can vote once a day.
