Rob Zombie tonight
Rob Zombie, with openers Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures and Nekromantix, perform tonight in northern Utah.
In a media conference call, Mr. Zombie revealed that the worst thing you can give a kid on Halloween is a toothbrush. "I'd punch them in the face," he said.
His favorite candy? Candy corn, but he admitted that by the end of August he gets sick of them, so by the time Halloween rolls around, he can't stand the sight.
He is bringing his "Hellbilly Deluxe 2" tour to Saltair, tied in with his forthcoming album: "Hellbilly Deluxe 2: Noble Jackals, Penny Dreadfuls and the Systematic Dehumanization of Cool." Zombie, known for his over-the-top stage shows, said technological breakthroughs since his original "Hellbilly Deluxe" tour will allow him to use some pretty cool digital imagery to amplify the show. Zombie also plans on playing some songs he's "never performed, ever." Wouldn't that make them zombie songs, then, rising from the dead?
