Hall's Ice Bag No Joke
BYU quarterback Max Hall ended practice today with his shoe off and his left ankle wrapped in ice.
"April Fools," Hall said.
But it wasn't entirely a joke. Hall had his ankle stepped on by an offensive lineman during team drills.
"It hurt for a second, but I am fine," Hall said. "I just got a big old cleat mark on my ankle. Some of those lineman are big guys."
The ultimate test of how serious it was?
"If we hadn't scored, I would have gone back in again," Hall said of his touchdown pass to tight end Dennis Pitta.
