The first road trip didn't net a victory as the Cougars lost to the Yakima Reds 2-1, and appropriately tied the Tide 1-1 in Tacoma yesterday.
The Reds earned the victory in stoppage time when Alonso Rojas beat his defender for the game-winner. Yakima took a 1-0 lead in the 43rd minute before BYU answered with a penalty kick by Zach Defrancis in the 89th minute.
Against the Tide, BYU took a 1-0 lead when Zach Defrancis scored in the 32nd minute off an assist from Steve Fellows.
But the Tide turned it back to even in the 53rd minute on a goal by Raphael Cox.
BYU returns home for Memorial Day and then heads to Canada to play the Abbotsford Rangers and Vancouver Whitecaps.

Timpview honored:
I am sure Harvey Unga, Luke Ashworth, Stephen Covey, Scott Johnson, Wayne Latu, Dallas and Matt Reynolds would agree. Provo's own Timpview High was honored as the state's best high school by Sports Illustrated in terms of athletics for 2007-08.
If needed, Chris Miles, Matt Pinegar and Sarah Red can vouch for the hoops prowess too.
No Utah school made cut for the Top 25 nationally. For the full list, pick up a copy of this week's magazine or check out this link:
