While BYU hasn't played a conference game in a week, it finished in third place in the conference standings after Saturday's league games were in the books. Utah finished as the No. 6 seed.
Last year, Utah beat BYU 9-3 in a MWC tournament opener.
The Cougars beat the Utes in five of six regular-season games this year, losing only a 15-13 decision in Provo.
