Five BYU baseball players on all-MWC teams
On the eve of their first-round showdown with Utah at the Mountain West Conference baseball tournament, five Cougars have earned all-conference honors from the MWC.
Junior third baseman Steve Parker and senior designated hitter Kent Walton made the first team, while outfielder Stetson Banks, pitcher Blake Torgerson and reliever Jordan Muir made the second team.
New Mexico's Mike Brownstein is the Player of the Year and San Diego State's Stephen Strasburg is the Pitcher of the Year.
BYU's Walton is a repeat first-teamer.
