Arizona offensive lineman Blair Tushaus commits to BYU
Superprep.com is reporting that BYU has received its 22nd football commitment from a member of the class of 2010.
Blair Tushaus, an offensive center at Notre Dame Prep in Scottsdale, Ariz., told Southwest Recruiting Analyst Jason Jewel that he will become a Cougar.
"I committed to BYU yesterday but I wanted to talk to Coach [Dennis] Erickson before I made it public," Tushaus told Jewel, explaining how he chose BYU over Arizona State.
Tushaus recently made an unofficial visit to BYU to meet with coach Bronco Mendenhall and other coaching staff members.
He maintains a 3.7 GPA and was a first-team all-region selection last year.
Scout.com gives him three stars, and he is 6-foot-2, 275-pounds.
