Make that two: Alabama RB Phillips also picks BYU
Looks like two in one day for the Cougars.

Totalbluesports.com is reporting that BYU also received a commitment today from Drew Phillips, a 6-foot, 180-pound running back/receiver from Boaz, Ala.

Alani Fua, a linebacker from California, also committed to BYU coaches today.

The Cougars now have 24 commitments from the class of 2010, which is one more scholarship than coach Bronco Mendenhall said he had available. However, schools over-sign all the time (they can sign 25 guys) because they know not every player they sign will not qualify academically.

Phillips chose BYU over Central Michigan, but also had several other offers.

Jay, I give you a lot of credit for actually crediting total blue sports. A lot of utah media outlets go out of their way not to mention total blue sports by name, and I always thought that was cheap and spiteful of the traditional media.

You, on the other hand, have been very honest in your reporting, and I've been impressed and thought that was very classy of you. (and no, I'm, not affiliated with TBS, just like to see people get the credit they deserve).

Best of luck to you, and you've impressed me with your very hard work over the past year.
