The Sept. 19 game from LaVell Edwards Stadium actually averaged 972,429 viewers and garnered a .8 national household rating.
That made Versus the top-rated cable network in the country among key male demographics, according to the network.
In Utah, Versus was the most-watched and highest-rated network overall (both broadcast and cable) during that time slot.

Translation: The biggest game we're broadcasting this season drew a fifth of the AVERAGE prime time ESPN audience.
Don't buy the VS spin, Drew.
"Top in key male demographics" ... which demographics are these? Mormons and North-Florida-Baptists?
VS may upset that their total draw is being reported as 879,000 when it was actually 972,429, but maybe what they should be concerned with is why they can't crack the top 20 among cable networks?
Or even why they can't crack the top 20 but are demanding top 20 money?

According to Greg's link, ESPN totalled more viewers over 7 days last week than Versus did. Like, no way, man! That's almost as much as Nickolodian!
How stupid the MWC is for not signing their football games onto the NickToons network!
