Utah State's extension offices a valuable resource
Many people think of Utah State University's extension offices as a resource for gardening information. But the offices can be a valuable resource to people who are trying to better manage their money as well. Check out the offerings at an extension office near you here. Some county exttension offices, such as the one in Salt Lake County, offer free or low-cost classes on a variety of financial topics, including buying a home and budgeting. Two upcoming topics: "How advertisers mess with our minds and wallets," and another on how to prepare a good budget, plan nutritious meals and shop wisely.
