Watch those extra-bag fees
It may be worth a call to your airline before your next trip to see how many bags and how much weight you may bring on board without paying extra and what you would have to pay if you exceed any limits.
Many flyers are being caught off guard by charges for extra bags or excess weight.
Read one flyer's experience on Delta, when the cost of several extra bags added up.
