Flag daze
When it comes to legislation to "protect" the American flag from "desecration," Utah's Senator Bob Bennett is right and Utah's Senator Orrin Hatch is wrong.
I guess that's why every state has two senators. Too bad they didn't cancel
out each other's vote on, say, the Give Paris Hilton a Tax Break Act of 2006.
And, speaking of senators and flags, former Sen. Bob Kerrey, the decorated Vietnam vet the Democrats must have meant to nominate for president last time, has the issue well figured out in today's Washington Post.

Laws were meant to take care of TRIVIAL matters such as this, not amendments. Hatch has been "posturing" all hid life and hasn't figured out the difference.
