Utah student wins national contest

Albion Middle School seventh-grader Doyoum (Anna) Park has won the National School Bus Safety Poster Contest.

In March, she won the state-level contest and was awarded $50 bucks. Now, as the national winner she'll get a $1,000 U.S. Savings Bond and her poster will be featured in MORE THAN 90,000 safety week posters in schools, emergency rooms, libraries and police departments across the country.

Park entered the contest last school year when she was a sixth-grader at Quail Hollow Elementary in Mrs. Julie Overholt's class.

I would show you the actual poster, but it's top secret (i.e. I do not have the technical prowess to figure out how to post it into our blogging program).But you can take my word for it: it is very cute and colorful.
