Say Cheese

Utah's Beehive Cheese Co. brought home three medals from the American Cheese Society's annual competition, held last week in Chicago.

"Barely Buzzed" — an aged cheese rubbed with espresso and lavender — earned first place in the flavored cheddar category. This is the second year the cheese won the top prize.

Beehive's "Bandaged Promontory with Cajun" placed second in the cheddar flavored with pepper category.

And the "Promontory Smoked with Walnut Shells and Apples" earned third place in the smoked cheeses made from cow's milk.
