Beyond Retsina
For those who missed the out-of-this world dolmathes and luscious galatoboureko (milk custard) at the Greek Festival last weekend, there is a second chance to be Greek.

Sheral Schowe, owner of Wasatch Academy of Wine, will be leading a Greek Wine and Cheese class Sept. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Harmons Grocery store, 125 E. 13800 South, in Draper. Cost is $55.

Schowe, who helps the Greek community select the wines served at the Festival, will take students beyond the traditional pine-flavored Retsina, letting them taste all the unique flavors this Mediterranean country has to offer.

The class will last 2 to 3 hours. You must be 21 or older to attend. (Bring ID.)
