Dining this and that
The Utah dining scene is always in flux. Here are a few changes of interest:
Opening: On Oct. 9, go Au Naturale. You'll need to keep your clothes on, though, because that's the name of the new restaurant set to open at 2100 S. 900 East. Owned by Utah natives and life-long friends, Doug Nelson and George Metos, the restaurant menu is an eclectic mix of sandwiches, burgers, burritos, sushi and soups. All the food is made with natural ingredients (and organic when available) that are low in fat and sodium. Prices range from about $6 to $12. Service is supposed to be quick, too. The website, goaunaturale.com promises that customers will get their order in three minutes.
Closed: Boulevard, the fine-dining restaurant at 2235 E. Murray-Holladay Blvd. closed a while back.
Changing: If you've been to Caputo's Market and Deli lately, you have probably noticed a guy with long sideburns and a white chef coat running around. That's Adam, Kreisel, formerly the chef at Acme Burger Co. Besides working at this popular Salt Lake City lunch spot, Kreisel will be developing a new pasta and risotto dinner menu. The casual and affordable offering won't start until early 2009, says owner Tony Caputo.

I can't find anywhere on the menu that they serve the food in 3 minutes. I find that most places that cook your food to order take at least 5 to 8 mintues which is what I have experienced here. But the food is Very Nummy!
