Turkey Boot Camp for the Boys
Wives, if it's your turn to host Thanksgiving dinner, but dread doing it alone, The Art Institute of Salt Lake City has a way to get your significant other involved.

The private, four-year college for the arts in Draper will give five lucky husbands a four-hour holiday cooking class on Nov. 22. During the course, they will get hands-on instruction and tips for roasting the turkey and preparing all the fixings.

To nominate your spouse for this "Thanksgiving Culinary Camp" email Chef Frank Krause by Nov. 14 at chef.frank@live.com Include contact information, your family's Thanksgiving dinner plans and why your spouse should be selected. Winners will be notified by Nov. 17. The class will be held from 9 a.m. to1 p.m. at the Art Institute, 121 W. Election Road, just west of I-15 at about 11800 South.

Wives can attend, but they have to watch portions of the class from an observation area.
