Food storage fanatic
Now that Christmas is over, it's time to start thinking about New Years Resolutions.

If pumping up your food storage is on the list, you might find inspiration in this Associated Press story about Kenneth Moravec. The American Fork resident (pictured here) has taken the idea of having a three-month supply of food for emergencies to new heights.

His basement has enough food stuff to last six years!

"Floor-to-ceiling shelves are lined with canned fruits and vegetables, dried or powdered herbs, spices and drinks, along with drums of rice, pasta, wheat and other grains. Each is labeled with its contents and the date of purchase or when it was home-canned, usually right out of Moravec's garden," according to the story.
