The Stable Place
The Great Harvest Bread stores in Salt Lake are involved in more than just baking wholesome bread.

When the snow melts, bakery employees will help build a sensory trail for The Stable Place, a new non-profit therapeutic riding center for the disabled in West Valley City.

On March 27, the community is invited to attend a free open house at the stable, 2877 S. Cassell St. Meet the horses, listen to live music and enjoy chili, corn bread and chocolate chip cookies, baked by -- who else? --- Great Harvest.

The open house runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m.
