Unplugged, but still eating

I've been unplugged the last five days. Just hiking and relaxing in and around Moab. No blogging or twittering. And barely any bars on my cell phone.
But that doesn't mean I haven't been eating well. My three favorite meals on my trip:
1. The beef short ribs served over polenta my husband and I cooked in our Dutch oven. Smelled so good, it attracted the attention of Kevin from Alaska, in the next campsite. He brought out a great bottle of California Zinfandel, so we let him stay and eat.
2. The "carne bajio" at Buck's Grill House in Moab. Tender beef in a adobo sauce, folded in homemade crepes and topped with goat cheese and creamy guacamole sauce. ($17) Perfect meal after watching souped-up automobiles climb 'Potato Salad Hill." (That's another story.)
3. A 1/2 pound cheese burger, with all the righ fixings at Ray's Tavern in Green River. A fabulously charred patty with perfect bun-to-meat ratio, ($9), it is one of the 5 "best" burger in Utah.
Now that I'm home, we eat chicken!

Carne Bajio sounds wonderful! I'll have to remember that place when I get back to Moab!
I've been to Ray's Tavern! What a place. Don't expect quick service but the burgers are worth it!
The mention of Ray's having a top burger reminded me of the burger brackets... Remember those? Oh man... I miss my old job, and its people, so much. :)
