"Two Peas and Their Pod" written by Salt Lake City resident Maria Lichty, was recently named one of the "Top 25 Foodie Blogs" by FriendsEAT.com, a social networking site for chefs, restaurateurs, food bloggers, and foodies.

Lichty, a certified health educator for the state of Utah , started www.twopeasandtheirpod.com</a> about a year ago, shortly after marrying her husband, Josh.

 It started out as a personal Web log, but the couple likes to cook and it quickly became a place for new recipes. Now the site averages about 3,000 page views a day.

"We love trying new recipes, techniques, and flavors," said Lichty. "We try to keep it healthy, but of course we have to splurge once in awhile."
