5-Week Italian Cooking Class Starts Saturday

Learn to make classic Italian food during a five-week cooking class at Martin’s Fine Desserts, 2163 Richards Street, Salt Lake City.

The first class is Saturday, April 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. Roberto Deni, chef at Cucina Toscana, will show participants how to make ravioli, tortelloni and fettuccine. Cost is $55 per person and includes food and beverages.

On May 2, Deni will demonstrate how to make gnocchi and pizza. May 9, the topic is focaccia, scaloppine and caprese; May 23, cannelloni and two kinds of lasagna are on the menu; and on May 30, students will learn to make crepes.
