Jazz Notes:
The Utah Jazz and NBA by Ross Siler and Steve Luhm
Thursday, June 28, 2007
Isiah is on the clock, Almond is still in play
This is going to be my final post before I sign off and get to work. The Jazz are two picks away from being able to take Morris Almond, assuming he's available. One of those picks belongs to the Knicks and the always unpredictable Isiah Thomas. The other belongs to Phoenix. Tonight's winners: Chicago, Seattle and New Jersey. Tonight's losers: the Lakers, Sacramento and Milwaukee (if the Bucks wind up in a standoff with Yi Jianlian). Spike Lee's comment about the Knicks drafting "the brother from DePaul" goes down as the line of the night.
