As it turns out, Price could have a new teammate in the next few days.
Jason Levan, the agent for second-round draft pick Kryrlo Fesenko, told me Tuesday afternoon that he is "optimistic" his client will play for the Jazz next season.
The only stumbling block is a $500,000 buy-out that must be paid to Fesenko's professional team in Ukraine.
According to Levan -- and contrary to reports by some Salt Lake media outlets -- the buy-out has not been finalized.
"We're trying to get something done," Levan said. "The Jazz, obviously, have shown an interest in Fess. I think they were happy with how he performed [during the Rocky Mountain Revue], so we were hopeful. But nothing has been resolved yet."
Fesenko is "very upbeat" over the prospect of eventually signing with the Jazz. He stayed in Salt Lake after the summer league "and got to the city," Levan said. "He really likes it there."

I think you spelled is agent's name wrong.
It's spelled Levien, not Levan.
Ha ha... then I forgot the h.
This kid could be a diamond in the rough. Hopefully more diamond than rough, his athleticism really makes him intriguing.
