Second-round draft pick Kyrylo Fesenko will fly to Salt Lake on Sunday to join the Jazz's Rocky Mountain Revue team, although Fesenko's contract situation with his Ukrainian club team has not been resolved, agent Jason Levien said Saturday.
The Jazz could wait several weeks before negotiating a buyout with the Ukrainian team, and the hope is Fesenko will be allowed to play in the Revue with the Jazz assuming all insurance risk should Fesenko suffer an injury.
Fesenko returned to Sarasota, Fla., after his introductory news conference in Salt Lake last week. The 20-year-old center was not listed on the Jazz's summer-league roster released Friday.
