Brent Barry still can't decide what he wants to do.
Traded by San Antonio to Seattle and immediately waived by the Sonics, Barry is doing his best to make the NBA believe he wasn't part of a wink-wink deal between the two teams by absolutely agonizing over where he wants to play next.
Barry said he would make up his mind on Monday.
He didn't.
Supposedly, Barry was considering offers from Boston, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix and -- surprise, surprise -- the Spurs.
Yao Ming's season-ending foot injury came at a convenient time for Barry, who scratched the Rockets off his list because, hey, the Rockets suddenly aren't a championship-caliber team. Nobody can blame Barry for not wanting to play for the Yao-less Rockets.
According to stories in a couple of newspapers Tuesday morning, Barry is no longer seriously considering Dallas or Boston, either. His choice of teams has come down to Phoenix or San Antonio.
Imagine that.
Somehow, the Spurs remain in the running.
As soon as I hear, I'll let you know when Barry announces his decision to re-sign with San Antonio ... I mean, when he decides between the Suns and the Spurs.

Get over it Steve. Again, the current rules allow for this. If this were the Jazz and it was allowable & written into the C.B.A. I'd expect them to do what was best for the franchise. I'd expect a good player to do the same.
Steve- get a clue about blogs. Ross has brought us two insightful posts in a row. They were entertaining to read and informative about otherwise unknown aspects of the NBA and his job. They were great.
You on the other hand Steve, brought us the insultingly terrible crackpot paranoia about Brewer's headband and have now followed it up with an inane and boring, yet vicious critique of a bit-player deal.
I don't even know why that would be your focus, but even if I did think it were worth comment, I still think you're missing the big picture. Look at the league man. And for the love of God (at least when it comes to your pitiful blog posts) look at yourself.
