Bobby Jones: 1 player, 5 teams, 60 teammates
Just in case he ever winds up playing for the Jazz in the future, I introduced myself to Bobby Jones as the Nuggets' shootaround Saturday. Jones has played for an NBA-record five different teams this season, starting and finishing with Denver.

In between, he played on 10-day contracts with Memphis, Houston, Miami and San Antonio. He said he would call all those teams' equipment managers after the season and ask them to send his jerseys to his mother's house.

From a nearby seat, Linas Kleiza jumped in with the obvious joke: "You'd better have a big house." Jones actually was at EnergySolutions Arena last week as a member of the Spurs and played nine minutes of garbage time in the blowout.

Added up, Jones has played with 60 - - yes, 60 - - teammates this season. He said he's known at least one or two guys at every stop he's made and called his return to Denver a "homecoming."

Jones did start two games with Memphis and finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds in a victory over Seattle on Jan. 18.

"Everything I've been through, nobody really has been through," Jones said, "so I really can't go back on somebody else's experience and learn from it. It's just been winging it."

Here's the complete list of Bobby Jones' teammates. Jazz guard Kyle Korver played with Jones in Philadelphia last season and said his nickname was "Sky" for a monster dunk he had in practice.

Denver: Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson, Marcus Camby, Keyon Martin, Yakhouba Diawara, Eduardo Najera, Linas Kleiza, Nene, J.R. Smith, Anthony Carter, Mike Wilks, Steven Hunter, Von Wafer, Jelani McCoy, Chucky Atkins. (15)

Memphis: Rudy Gay, Darko Milicic, Pau Gasol, Mike Miller, Mike Conley, Juan Carlos Navarro, Kyle Lowry, Hakim Warrick, Stromile Swift, Andre Brown, Brian Cardinal, Casey Jacobsen. (12)

Houston: Tracy McGrady, Shane Battier, Luis Scola, Dikembe Mutombo, Rafer Alston, Chuck Hayes, Carl Landry, Bobby Jackson, Luther Head, Steve Novak, Aaron Brooks (11)

Miami: Shawn Marion, Ricky Davis, Mark Blount, Daequan Cook, Jason Williams, Chris Quinn, Alexander Johnson, Joel Anthony, Earl Barron, Stephane Lasme, Blake Ahearn (11)

San Antonio: Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Bruce Bowen, Michael Finley, Fabricio Oberto, Ime Udoka, Jacque Vaughn, Kurt Thomas, Matt Bonner, Damon Stoudamire (11)
