On the road in southern Utah
Nate Martinez, the Jazz's youth programs coordinator, checked in Friday with the list of towns the Jazz will be hitting in the third and final week of Jr. Jazz clinics around the region.
They went to eastern Utah with Morris Almond in mid-June and northern Utah, Idaho and Wyoming with Kyrylo Fesenko the last week of July. Next up is southern Utah and Nevada. The St. George stop is supposed to be one of the biggest they make.
Monday, Aug. 11: Dugway, Utah 10 a.m.; West Wednover, Nev. 1:30 p.m.; Ely, Nev. 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 12: Delta, Utah 11:30 a.m; Fillmore, Utah 2 p.m.; Salina, Utah 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 13: Escalante, Utah 11 a.m.; Bryce Valley, Utah 1:30 p.m.; Orderville, Utah 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 14: Kanab, Utah 1:30 p.m.; St. George, Utah 5:30 p.m.
Friday Aug. 15: Beaver, Utah 11 a.m.; Mt. Pleasant, Utah 5:30 p.m.
Saturday Aug. 16: Nephi, Utah 10 a.m.; Santaquin, Utah Noon
