Carlos Boozer, of course, won't play on Friday night against the Lakers. He is scheduled for arthroscopic knee surgery next week.
There is some better news for the Jazz regarding Paul Millsap and Jarron Collins.
Millsap, who missed the last three games because of a sprained knee ligament, participated in practice and expects to play against the Lakers. He will have to wear a brace but does not believe it be much of a bother.
Collins has missed six weeks with a sore elbow but also participated in practice -- his first contact work since being sidelined. Barring a setback, he will be available against the Lakers.

Just catching up here. I think the main difference between Millsap and Boozer is their ability to recover from injury. Not necessarily pain tolerance, mind you, but how injured they get and how long it takes them to come back.
It's for this reason alone, I think Boozer should be moved. I don't think he is injury prone, but when he does get injured it takes him way tooo long to recover.
Also, I think Millsap is a little more clutch and plays better defense.
