"He's doing better," Okur said. "He's getting rehab right now, but the way he is right now, it's kind of ups and downs. A couple days he feels good, one day not really good and stuff.
"I was going to stay longer here, like three or four weeks, and so we've got to go early and support my family, be with them."
Okur said it would take a month for his strained right hamstring to heal and was enthusiastic about the prospect of a contract extension, calling Utah his "second home."

Jarron Collins is planning to play basketball somewhere next season, but his Jazz career might have come to an end after eight seasons.
Collins is an unrestricted free agent and could only say, "You never know what the future holds," when asked if he thought he would be back.
Both general manager Kevin O'Connor and coach Jerry Sloan thanked Collins for his professionalism in their exit meeting, with Collins saying his feelings toward the organization were mutual.
"My time spent here in Utah has been absolutely fantastic," Collins said, adding, "I'm very, very fortunate to do what I do, play in the NBA, play here for eight years. It's been great."
