Are you a GFOB (Gay Friend of Buttars)?
He sponsored legislation banning gay marriage and is now trying to ban gay support groups in high school. Still, Sen. Chris Buttars has said on several occasions that he has gay friends.
Who are they? He won't tell.
But that doesn't stop us from trying to find out.
If you are gay and a friend of Buttars (yes, he has to agree that you are his friend), Planet Legislature will award you a prize: two tickets to see Brokeback Mountain. Contest winners will be limited to the first three GFOBs.
Not a bad deal, eh?

What makes you think any GFOB's:
1) disagree with the Senator;
and
2) want the publicity?
Im sure there is a missing link some where.

I'm still wondering how this MEATHEAD got elected... Best news I heard last week was that he was not going to seek re-election. He said there are still three things he wants to do though... Anyone want to put a potential little list together to help him narrow down the choices? :)

I am a neighbor of Chris Butters and I will say up front that he is an embarrasment. He got elected because, as one writer to the Public Forum wrote, people who voted for him the second term knew what he was like and still voted for him, they are of like mind. He is a homophobic and hurtful person. He wanted me to be his home teaching partner and I declined. I am in the same LDS Ward and was a Republican up until a few months ago when I changed to Independent. Him and people like him, Gayle Ruzicka for example, are afraid of anyone who thinks differently then themselves. Chris craves the attention even negative. He has to be the center of attention and will do anything to get it. I have four grown children and they all think he is a joke.
