Wake Me When It's Over
In the hubbub of the legislative session you grab a bite to eat when you can, slip into the rest room when possible and -- apparently -- grab a few winks when the time is right.
That time on Tuesday was about 1:20 p.m.
In the House Democratic Caucus, Minority Leader Ralph Becker nodded off in the middle of a demographic presentation from the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel.
At the same time, the House Republican Caucus was meeting just across the hall. That's where Speaker Greg Curtis could be seen snoozing while budget committee leaders made their spending recommendations.
