"The Perfect Man" dies
Esoteric film lovers may know about "The Perfect Human," Danish filmmaker Jorgen Leth's 1967 short, a 13-minute sociological satire that depicts how The Perfect Man lives his life.

It's really obscure, though made less so in 2003 when Denmark's film provocateur Lars von Trier had Leth, his mentor, remake "The Perfect Human" five times under different rules - and compiled the results in the fascinating film "The Five Obstructions."

Word comes (from Cinematical) that Claus Nissen, the actor who portrayed The Perfect Man in the original short, has died. He was 69.
