Former Jazz guard Raul Lopez played only about three minutes of the first quarter before going back to the bench with three fouls.
His third foul was a blocking call, when Deron Williams bumped into him in the lane. Williams made one of two free throws. It's now 33-27 for the USA with 1:10 remaining in the quarter.
The crowd is quite antagonized about perceived poor officiating, harming Spain.
