Schechter is a motivational/leadership/marketing guru. It was apparent to me from looking over his Web site he has nothing to do with the sect.
In my first email, I said his Web site was mentioned in a deposition involving a member of the FLDS church. ''Why? Do you have any connection to the sect?''
Here is what he told me:
''Ha. That's funny. I don't even know what FLDS stands for!''
So I emailed him again, and explained who the FLDS are and asked if he knew Merril Jessop.
Shecky wrote back: ''I have no idea who that is.''

I don't know - let me put on my anti-FLDS tin foil hat...
Jeffsbusiness.com - hmmm, why that choice of name?
Schechter seems pretty close to Schleicher - my tin foil hat is beginning to ring.
Oops the hat fell off and I'm back to total and complete BS.
Nice try Natalie - next time maybe you need other bait in your fishing expedition.
good investigative journalism. all the other journalists are too chicken or too lazy to ask the real questions.
I get it, Malonis is getting paid on the side for promotional mentions.
I'm sure Jeff doesn't mind the hits.
Considering the amount of property the state seized, so much that they have yet to provide all they must in discovery(!), it's not that wild to find that link in the "Favorites" on one of the truckloads of computers.
Could this lead to Shecky claiming he's a beneficiary in the up and coming Malonis Trust?
My brother's name is Jeff, I wonder if he is connected to the FLDS somehow.
Damn, Lois Lane, it has been a long time that I have seen a reporter with integrity.
You are obviously a women who loves her work....bravo!

I love his answers. More entertaining, at least, than the ones Merrill Jessop gave...
Thanks for the laugh Lucille!
WJ: Well, maybe you could give me some clarification. How do you know Mr. Schaffer?
ROFL!!!!!!!!!!
