Bradley Will Do It Again
Democratic Salt Lake County Council Member Jim Bradley announced he will run for re-election Thursday when he was at Monte Vista Elementary School in South Jordan helping students honor Dr. Seuss during a read along.
Thankfully, Bradley wasn't reading "My Pet Goat" when he made the announcement.
Bradley told the kids that when they grow up they will pay for the decisions that he makes now as a council member. He didn't have the heart to tell them about President Bush's deficit they will be paying for when they grow up.
Bradley also told the students that when someone announces their candidacy, it is customary for the audience to cheer and applaud. The students responded with a rousing cheer for Bradley.
The audience was not screened beforehand to make sure there were no dissenters.
