We Have a Winner
The Utah Republican Party, which has had its share of turmoil the past few months, has a new permanent executive director.

State Chairman Stan Lockhart says the job has been turned over to Ivan Dubois, who has worked for the party in various capacities for the past several months. Lockhart says Dubois managed the recent state convention which "went off very well."

Dubois also served as an intern at the Utah State Senate. "He is very well versed in party affairs and has done a good job with every assignment he has been given, " said Lockhart.

Veteran political organizer Dave Hansen has been filling in as temporary executive director while party officials searched for a permanent E.D. to replace Jeff Hartley, who was fired earlier this year by former State Chair Enid Greene. Lockhart says Hansen will continue to mentor Dubois.

Hartley is now working on the voucher referendum campaign for Parents for Choice in Education, which hopes to defeat the referendum, and the Salt Lake City mayoral campaign of Keith Christensen, who recently renounced his affiliation with the Republican Party.

Notice that Hartley is working against Christensen instead of working FOR a candidate.

Also notice that Hartley is again running a campaign with PCE money. Maybe he will put them into debt without having anything to show for it.

Come on now, j-man.

First of all, your post makes no sense.

Secondly, you seem to be attempting to accuse Mr. Hartley of participating in some sort of financial crisis.

You should be advised to 'post what you know' and leave innocent people alone.

Since you apparently know 'jack-squat,' I would advise against such ludicrous statements.
