Natalie Gochnour of the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce told legislators the plan "will be uniquely Utahn." That spurred members of the audience to speculate if it will involve a Ponzie scheme or some other form of multi-level marketing, or if it will involve multiple wives.
Committee member Rep. Jim Dunnigan, R-Taylorsville, an insurance broker whose industry is less than thrilled about the state taking over some of their duties, asked when people will be more attentive to what really causes the health care crisis: alcohol, tobacco and obesity.
That prompted another audience member to quip: "Well, in Utah two out of three ain't bad."
Cheers, Paul Rolly
