Whitehorse was able to get to the state tournament without too much trouble from Salt Lake Lutheran but the Tintic/Monument Valley and the Wayne/Tabiona games were lost by a combined 11 points.
Despite a game-high 25 points from Tabiona's Savannah Gines, the Tigers couldn't overcome a 10-point first quarter lead.
The Tintic/Monument Valley game was much more exciting. The two teams battled throughout the fourth quarter and only in overtime was Tintic able to finally pull away. Tintic got 28 points from Kelcie Carter.
