Football: East's coaching shifts
Because of the news that longtime coach Larry Eldracher will become the interim head coach after Aaron Whitehead resigned Monday, the East football coaching staff will shift some responsibilities.
Along with overseeing the team, Eldracher will continuing being the defensive coordinator. But third-year assistant coach Doug Bills takes over Whitehead's former duties as the offensive coordinator.
"We'll run the wing-T, like we've always have," said Bills, who was also considered for the interim head coaching position. "We're going to stick with what we've been working with. It'll be good. We have some good guys. We'll score some points."
