Baseball: UVU lands Bingham pitcher Blake Krahenbuhl
Bingham High baseball star Blake Krahenbuhl has signed with Utah Valley University. Krahenbuhl, a 6-foot-4 right-handed pitcher, carries a 3.8 GPA and will be a four-year letter winner for the Miners next spring.
"Blake will be heavily counted on this upcoming spring to be a key contributor on this year's pitching staff hoping to make another run to play in the state final," said Bingham coach Joey Sato.
Krahenbuhl, who traveled with the Utah Baseball Academy last summer and fall, threw a one-hitter at the World Wood Bat Championships in Marietta, Ga..
He is also a four-year basketball letter winner. He was also recruited by Seattle University, Utah, Army and BYU.
