Basketball: Weber State signs two preps and a juco star
BYU's basketball team landed four of the state's top recruits, and Pleasant Grove's C.J. Wilcox has signed with Washington.
After that, though, it appears the state's other schools aren't real thrilled with prep basketball players from the Class of 2009. Southern Utah recently signed two players from Australia, and now Weber State has released its list of three signees.
None are from Utah.
Here are the Wildcats' three signees:

* Blake Davis, a 6-foot-5, 210-pound forward from St. Mary's High in Phoenix, Ariz. Davis averaged 12.5 points per game his junior year and was named second-team all-region and honorable mention all-state.
* Byron Fulton, a 6-7 forward/center from St. Mary's High and a teammate of Davis. Fulton weighs 240 pounds and an arm span of 7-1.
* Lindsey Hughey, a 6-3 guard from Seminole Junior College in Oklahoma. As a freshman at Seminole, Hughey averaged 13.2. points and 4.6 rebounds a game.
