BYU lands prep offensive lineman from Oklahoma
Brad Wilcox, a 6-foot-7, 270-pound offensive lineman from Edmond, Okla., has orally committed to play football for BYU, according to the Web site totalbluesports.com.
Wilcox apparently gave the Cougars his word last month.
He is expected to go on an LDS Church mission before enrolling at BYU.
The big lineman also had offers from Iowa State and Oregon State.
Wilcox moved to Oklahoma from Everett, Wash., in 2003.
He also drew interest from Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Tulsa, Washington, New Mexico and Boise State.
