Softball: Copper Hills star will sign with new Weber State program
Linnea Ketcher, a center fielder at Copper Hills High in West Jordan, will sign with Weber State's new softball program and new coach Tina Johnson on Wednesday.
Ketcher was a second-team all-stater in 2008 and is a two-time all-Region 3 selection. She holds five state hitting records, including 10 consecutive hits and 54 hits in a season.
Ketcher also had offers from Dixie State College and Francis Marion University in South Carolina.
The senior carries a 3.96 grade point average.
