Football: Former Colt Kaufusi commits to Cal
A day after returning home from a visit to Arkansas, a former Cottonwood High star has committed to ...........Cal.
Keni Kaufusi, the lineman who was headed to the University of Utah last summer until some legal trouble derailed his plans, told Cottonwood coaches today that he has commited to the Pac-10 school that already has a commitment from Colts running back Isi Sofele.
Kaufusi, who has been out of football this fall, is the brother of John Martinez, the five-star lineman from Cottonwood who committed to USC last week.
Another Cottonwood lineman, Percy Taumoelau, also visited Arkansas over the weekend.
Taumoelau has an offer from the Razorbacks, but will also visit Washington State and Utah over the next few weeks.
