Football: Spanish Fork QB Lewis commits to Weber State
Weber State has landed one of the top high school quarterbacks in Utah, but won't be able to see what Spanish Fork's Breck Lewis can do for a couple of years.
Lewis, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound senior at Spanish Fork, has orally committed to Weber State. He will sign with the Wildcats on Feb. 4. However, Lewis will go on an LDS Church mission first and won't play for the Wildcats until 2011, according to his father, Mike.
Lewis threw for more than 5,000 yards and 60 in touchdowns in two seasons as the Dons' starting quarterback.
