Football: Riley Nelson will sign with BYU in March, his father says
BYU has released the names of 21 recruits who have signed national letters of intent today, and quarterback Riley Nelson's name is not on the list.
Nelson, the Logan High product who played his freshman year at Utah State, is currently on an LDS Church mission in Spain.
His father, Keith Nelson, just told me that Riley will sign his letter some time in March when he returns home from his mission. Keith Nelson said Riley has about five weeks left.
"A far as we're concerned, there are no changes," Keith Nelson said. "He's still going to BYU....We feel like there is no worry, no rush."
