Basketball: Former Riverton star signs with Minnesota-Crookston
Former Riverton High star Mike Larsen, a 6-foot-9 power forward who spent the last two years playing at Western Wyoming Community College, has signed to play for the University of Minnesota-Crookston.
Larsen averaged 10 points and five rebounds per game for the Golden Eagles last season and shot 44 percent from the field.
He helped WWCC make it to the second round of the National Junior College Athletic Association Region IX Tournament.
At Riverton, Larsen was a first-team all-state pick after averaging 13 points and seven rebounds his senior year.
