Football: BYU offers Heaps' prep teammate
Scout.com is reporting that BYU has made a scholarship offer to Jase Butorac, a 6-foot-3, 280-pound offensive lineman from Skyline High in Issaquah, Wash.

Skyline, of course, is the school attended by Jake Heaps, the LDS quarterback who is widely regarded as the top prep quarterback (junior) in the Western U.S., and maybe the country.

Butorac is not LDS, according to Chris Fetters of Scout.com.

Butorac said BYU line coach Mark Weber made the offer on Friday.
